Hi, I’m Elizabeth,
your stylist at Gilded Lily Salon and resource for all things natural beauty. I have been a licensed hairstylist in New York State for over seven years, and have been working in my own salon suite since 2017. There is also nothing I love more than getting to know you and being a part of your most special days!
Gilded Lily
is a space where I can provide services that make you feel beautiful and give you a uniquely peaceful, uplifting experience. Located in the quiet town of Franklin, NY, just north of the Catskill Mountains, I am an easy drive from almost all of upstate NY’s destination wedding venues, and offer hard-to-find luxury salon services to the rural area.
To “gild the lily” is to adorn or enhance something already beautiful in its own right. The phrase is an adaptation from a line in Shakespeare’s King John, which reads, “…To gild refined gold, to paint the lily, To throw perfume on the violet…” I feel great admiration and gratitude for the inherent beauty of each human being, both internal and external. You come to me beautiful and I have the opportunity to enhance that beauty and help you feel your best.
